Officially Published
I received Against the Clock today! I now have a few books sitting on my desk - I ordered a few too many to give to a few people. My Grandmother, Godparents etc.
I think it turned out really well - I have to say the cover scared me a bit but after a few more glances I realise how bang on it is.

My thought is that the clock represents the 12 hour marathon. The face is old/aging if you take a close look - and you get Alzheimer’s when you’re older… and the little boy (child) represents the state of mind someone with Alzheimer’s has… they become child like.
The book is lovely and I can’t believe I actually have a number of my poems published! It’s such an honour.
I’ve been writing quite a bit more lately; I’m considering entering a few poetry competitions, I even have two in mind but I have to decide which poem(s) to submit.
I have two in mind so far, I think I need to write a few more but the two I have in mind I’ll post blow. If you have a favourite I’d love to know which! :)
