She is Waiting

Posted on 28. Dec, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Uncategorized Poetry

This is something I wrote about a month ago, but couldn’t really… finish.  But here I have it, it’s really short, and it doesn’t actually explain very much, but at the same time, I actually like this as it is… I would love some feedback, maybe I’m just the one who feels like this…. :P

Night has fallen,
heads laid to rest,
the grandfather clock strikes 1,
then 2, 3…

She sits quietly staring out into night,
listening to the howling storm,
enthralled in nights beauty;
shimmering stars
glistening moon…

she is waiting,
waiting
and waiting…

    Very good.Like the way you seem to becoming more disciplined with your writing and not going on too long which you were at times.Like to see what you can write about things other than emotions. Writing is about observation as much as emotion.
