Slowly, quietly, I’m forced to leave.
My back turned, head bowed, slowly I’m leaving…
They all say I must leave, so why is my heart whispering,
Telling me they’re wrong?
The car is racing down the road,
landscape whizzing pass me; it’s all a blur;
such a vast land,
so many places,
so many people
and so many faces,
but it’s yours that I miss.

Sometimes
I remember you,
sometimes
you’re a second thought,
sometimes
I wish you weren’t just in my head.
Sometimes I wish you wouldn’t
haunt me in my dreams,
flaunting everything,
everything I had,
all I could have had,
leave my dreams
please.
A memory
is far from enough,
a flashback
is less of a pleasure and more a curse,
a photograph
trigers too many tears.
My memory of you
so beautiful…
I cannot help but
