Swimming

Posted on 28. Jan, 2010 by Olivia Bell in Uncategorized Poetry

Something rough, I’ve read it through once to make sure I didn’t typo… but otherwise, pretty raw.
I don’t want to edit this until I get some kind of feedback on it, I’m feeling very critical of myself at the moment, so I can’t trust my thoughts on this! What are your thoughts?
You’re swimming,
swimming through [...]

Wasting Time

Posted on 02. Dec, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Uncategorized Poetry

Take me slowly,
hold me gently,
soothe my fears with
kind sweet words,
take your time with me,
let me build brick by brick,
allow me to trust,
don’t break your promises,
don’t lose me in your rush
take your time
I’m not going anywhere.

Rediscovered Lovers

Posted on 24. Nov, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Romantic Poetry, Temptation

They dance around each other,
a touch of the arm,
grazing of legs under the table,
a brush of fingertips,
unbearably taunting–
The air fueled with desire,
with temptation,
with an emotion nobody has named,
and finally it ends–
Words fade into the distance,
glances turn to gazes,
brushing of fingertips turn to
moments, seconds, minutes
and at last;
they press themselves together
melting together,
hands no longer linger,
pressed against one [...]

High

Posted on 19. Nov, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Uncategorized Poetry

I’m really close to you
it feels like I’m flying
soaring above the clouds
with birds and their smooth wings
we’re soaring high
high above roof tops,
above streets and lights
we’re in another world.
You’re like my drug,
addicted to your smiles,
your caresses, your frame,
mine.
I crave your laughter,
my name upon your lips
your sweet words
give me shivers to my toes.
You’re really close to me
I [...]

Betrayal

Posted on 18. Nov, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Temptation

My body is a betrayal
my lips tremble,
eyes sparkle and dim
they voice things my lips cannot,
my hands shake as I try to hold onto
my last wisp of control,
my body warms with your touch
and shivers in your aftermath,
my body is a betrayal,
you leave me pleading
for more.

Nod as a Gentlemen Would

Posted on 16. Nov, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Temptation

I dare not voice my desires
for the fear of laughter,
I must not express my wish
for fear of rejection plagues me,
so I force myself
through my pen and paper
to voice things
if only to myself.
Do not ask for more
and do not ask for less,
understand my desire for
gentle touches and
scorching kisses.
Dare not challenge me,
dare not ask me why,
accept me [...]

Skin Seeking Skin

Posted on 15. Nov, 2009 by Olivia Bell in Temptation

Unexplainable,
my urges to…
hold your hand
hug you tight
walk alongside you
under your arm,
to have your
beating heart
against mine.
The yearning is not
expected,
yet the more I ignored
the more I dream,
long,
beg for it,
my body craves yours.
